Crystal, The problem isn't all "old white men". But it's all of those "old white men" who have never been around anybody but other white people, who sit in corner offices in their suits and ties and try to imagine what it would be like to live around and with people of color. It's not their skin color, but their lack of perspective that's the problem. I'm as white as snow, but i grew up in a racially diverse area of Los Angeles. Back in the 70s we could kid around about our differences and then go find the Friday night party after the high School Football game. My mentor was my Black shop teacher. he called a few of us 'cluck-heads", then we'd remind him that if it wasn't for our people his folk would still be pickin' cotton!..........
