THIS is why I could never understand the fervent Ron Paul supporters. Sure, he has a few good ideas (doesn't everyone?). But they are far outweighed by his bone-headed comments and ideas. This is a man who's never served in uniform, and has no understanding of either the brotherhood of soldiers, nor the traumatic aftermath of war. For combat veterans, plinking off rounds at a shooting range IS therapy and a bonding activity, which is what Kyle was attempting to help a fellow veteran. An apology doesn't cut it Mr. Paul. You knee-jerked an insult to someone going above and beyond for this nation. Just another reason for my philosophy - NO on should be eligible for elected office (at ANY level) without first having served in uniform.
