You and Barone are arguing for logic. Tthe only logic is winning elections. Making things work in a logical and efficient manner, well that is down-right Scrooge-like. Cannot have that going on in government. What next, elected officials that actually think about what they are doing instead of turning over all their authority to administrative agencies.
