Fatherless families create aggressive teens. Environmentally, a family without a male head is at consideralble risk in a hostile world. Quite an advantage for teens to become preternaturally aggressive and risk-taking. Greater chance of family surviving in a hostile environment. Survival is not really an issue since the government sends a check, but you can't tell the genes that. And of course that teen that has had to adapt and develope those unnatural survival tendancies has then a hard time adapting to a real, more normal world. Damaged goods. They especially are unlikely to be docile school attendees.
