Sometimes, regardless that ideally sports should only be about sports and not politics, depending on who is most excluded and taken for granted, there will be times when an athlete will summon a moment of glory no one expected. Like the way Jesse Owens blew past the competition so carefully selected and trained by Hitler's master coaches. Enough to make Hitler stomp from the arena in a huff. And despite something like that, blacks still dealt with the indignity of Jim Crow and segregation for 35 more years.
