Ms. Chavez is wrong, the 11 million of illegal immigrants is not the most antagonizing issue of the immigration reform. The biggest problem is with forming a logically coherent system allowing foreigners to come here and work legally. Americans can accept that living here already illegal immigrants might be allowed to stay permanently. But socialistic American masses fiercely oppose any reasonable work visa program, which would allow more foreigners to come and work here legally; with an understanding that some eventually might settle here. American workers want the government to protect them from the completion. Unfortunately, when foreigners are not coming here to work, the jobs emigrate abroad. The government cannot do much about this.
