Let’s face it: America hasn’t been in a real war since the end of WW2. I absolutely don’t mean that to denigrate our wonderful men and women in the armed forces or the service they have done for this country but rather to lambast the gutless, opportunistic lawmakers that view military action as a political tool. It is so very sad that, if a true war came along, and arguably we are pretty darn close, our current POTUS would be more Neville Chamberlain than Winston Churchill.
