You changed the FACT that the people who were members of these other "factions" didn't join the GOP merely so they would outnumber the Democrats. They did so to end slavery. In contrast the Democrats today are the party that is a coalition of factions, and some of these factions are utterly despicable (NAMBLA, Planned Parenthood, illegal immigrants). The only thing your party has in common TODAY is that you hate the Constitution because it obstructs your ability to steal the wealth of "the rich" without going to jail for it. The GOP was founded to correct a great moral injustice. The GOP remains true to morality to this day. The Democrats are nothing more or less than looters and pillagers who don't want to acknowledge or admit it.
