Re: "But to label Egypt's revolution a failure, just two short years into a process involving drastic political change, is an act of extraordinary haste." Mr. Bay, with due respects, your statement is a bunch of nonsense. The so-called "Arab Spring" is a figment of western imaginations in those who want to believe that the Middle-Eastern Islamic world is capable of reform and modernization - as currently constituted. As long as Egypt and other Islamic nations remain Muslim, and hidebound to that creed's distrust of invention, free intellectual inquiry and informed skepticism, the Muslim world will continue to remain a civilizational backwater. Western civilization cannot be transplanted whole into the harsh soil of the Muslim world.
