It would be wonderful if we could do that, and maybe in a perfect world (or the world of the 1950s and 1960s) every woman could stay at home IF SHE WANTED TO DO SO. My husband worked hard, until the business closed and no one was hiring. He has been faithful to me for 42 years and loves his children dearly. However, even after we made the decision that he would be the stay-at-home husband, he could not homeschool our children. He had neither the aptitude or inclination to do so. But he took advantage of his children being in school to go back to school himself so that he could get a better job.
