Okay, true story. You save a baby fawn. You raise it, heal it and turn it loose. That fall, your child that spent weeks bottle-ffeding the fawn and keeping it alive, sees the fawn hit by a car on the road. What does that do to your kid? Teach him about life? And leaving the fawn alone would not have? What if the deer is older and the child finds out a hunter killed it. It's a marvelous propaganda piece against hunting but your kid devastated. Again, how is that helpful or harmless? This would certainly play well for anti-gun, anti-hunting people. More nanny state.
