It's a stupid question. When your organizing principle is constitutionally limited government founded on inalienable individual rights, you cannot tent rent-seeking interest groups like the Democrats can, who have no such organizing principle. (In fact, such tenting is perfectly consistent with Democrats, who believe that politics is rightfully about some interest groups stealing from everyone else).
Neocons are opposed to the Tea Party's vision of limited government and free markets, they actively and sneakily support the preservation of the New Deal, and they work behind the scenes to destroy Tea Party power. That's not conservatives', Tea Party's, evangelicals', libertarians', or prohibitionists' fault. It's the neocons' fault.
