I do not mean this as an insult, but sometimes I wonder if Prager's dogmatic rigidity is the start of senility and dementia. I care for an eldely parent with Alzheimers, and sometimes she sees things right in front of her face that are in fact not there; her beliefs override the evidence of her eyes. And I suppose that this is in my own future as well, I am her son.
Prager is fond of saying how much he values Clarity. I do too, but I put Clarity below Truth in what I value. I'd rather be uncertain and live with that uncertainty, however unpleasant it may be, than go with an easy lie.
