A question about this entire debate? I have no problem with any American regardless of race, sex or sexual orientation choosing to serve their country in whatever manner to the absolute best of their personal capabilities. And I thank them for it. But there is an inherent problem with this latest equality. It is grossly unequal. A woman may now choose to serve in a combat role. Whereas every male US citizen between the ages of 18 and 45 may be compelled to do so. Yeah! Everybody remember draft registration? So what is the public view on compelling women into combat?
