My niece came to me when she was 20, unmarried and pregnant... scared and looking for answers. If I hadn't had an abortion in 1978 I would have had a 20-year old of my own. Here's what I told her regarding her "choices", "Do you know the ONLY time I regret having had an abortion?" She said, "No....when". I said, "Every time I look at you". She is the person dearest to me in my life. I never had a chance to have another child. Her "choice" is now 12 years old.
