Sounds as if Governor Jindal has a great message, one that hasn’t been heard much in Republican circles since Jack Kemp’s voice was silenced. The vision needs to be one of growth and opportunity – if we can achieve that, deficits will shrivel away, because more people will be too busy being prosperous to look for Obama Claus-type handouts.
Let’s face it, bean counting is not electorally attractive – is there a better bean counter anywhere in politics than Mitt Romney? Most elections are about what government is going to give people. The choice should be clear: Democraps want to hand you an ever-dwindling supply of stuff; we want to give back your hopes and aspirations.
