You are right...as long as the standards are kept the same...that is the rub. I know a few women who could pass the Ranger standards (although it would be a very small few)...why not give them the shot. I guess I look at the utility of things too...the use of woman in Iraq (and I'm assuming in Afghanistan) kept us safer. They were able to get in closer to the kids/women and gain better intel than we could just dealing with the Iraqi men. Maybe I'm dreaming, but maintain the standards and give everyone a shot.
