Greg...I share the same experiences you have in the military and have the same expectations of my fellow troops. The problem is the standards. If there is no gender-norming to the standards, then have at it. However, our military leaders will be faced with the reality that this program will not work unless they change the standards to ensure female success in these combat MOSs...otherwise there is no PC success story. If the standards for being a Ranger are not changed, then almost zero women will pass the qualification test. But what I see is the standards lowered...and a loss in military effectiveness to boot. Remember, CJCS General Dempsey highlighted this new rule to decrease and eliminate sexual assaults...which will not happen.
