This article gives the impression that Jewish American immigrants improved their lot, by and large, by going into the agricultural profession. Not sure where she gets her data from, but it is patently obvious that agriculture has never been a significant conduit to the American Dream for Jewish Americans, who have mostly lived in urban environments since the beginning of their immigrations. Jews' traditional emphasis within the family on education and developing skills that have economic value is much more pertinent to their success.
