ff they start with more gender norming with the qualifications for combat readiness then this is a policy that seriously weakens our militariy's effectiveness. If the standards remain, then there will be very few women serving in combat and those few will look and be built like men. However, the history of politicians and the military is that they will start with very few, but as the advocacy groups whine that combat service leads to higher promotion so the standards have to be lowered so women can climb the career latter, the politicians will give-in. So expect this to have a negative effect on combat readiness.
