"properly raised men will feel an urge to protect women". I couldn't agree more. My generation of men was raised to protect and honor women and ensure they came to no harm. I have three adult children, two men and one daughter, whom I love equally. But my daughter will always have a special place in my heart.
I would hope that service men would feel the same, but that puts them in jeopardy in their efforts to protect any women in their combat unit. And this doesn't even consider that a combat soldier carries almost 100 lbs. of equipment when on the move.
Women continue to serve honorably as pilots where physical prowess equal to men isn't a factor. But this social experimenting with our military by progressives is beyond the pale
