What difference does it make whether homosexuality is innate and immutable? If there is a moral or social distinction between homosexuality and heterosexuality, in terms of behavior, then that distinction remains regardless of where the drive to act out such behavior originates. Lev 18 doesn't say of men lying with men as with women, "It is abomination, but only if the desire to do this thing comes from a twisted mind rather than a innate, immutable defect in a person's sexual orientation."
