The problem is not whether or not an individual should be committed, it is should be whether or not the psychotropic drugs prescribe to CHILDREN and thusly administered throughout their formative years are a viable solution. Virtually ALL the shooters in these school shootings had been under psychiatric care and all had been prescribed psychotropics many for LONG periods of time. The CAUTIONS with these drugs say that side effects can be phycosis, suicidal depression and rage to name a few. Now CONNECT THE DOTS.
