Christian leaders always claim to love and respect homosexuals. "Love the sinner, hate the sin," they say. Except when they DON'T love them. Billy Graham once said all homosexuals should be castrated. (Later he issued an apology -- one of those empty apologies that you know was written by the guy's publicist.) Jerry Falwell said homosexuals are “brute beasts...part of a vile and satanic system [that] will be utterly annihilated, and there will be a celebration in heaven.” Pat Robertson once made this outrageous comparison: “Many of those people involved with Adolph Hitler were Satanists. Many of them were homosexuals -- the two things seem to go together.” Yeah, that sure shows love and respect!
