Here's what I faxed to my Senator, Dianne Feinstein: "I am in favor of your proposed gun control legislation, on the following condition: put utopia to the acid test. Add an amendment triggering a two-fold response on the occurrence of another shooting massacre: (1) the gun control law is automatically repealed, and (2) the psychiatric drugs known to have been used by the various perpetrators of these massacres are automatically banned. Let reality, not fantasy, prove what the real solution is."
