I agree with the spirit of this article but not the specifics: values are indivisible and economic/political freedom does require moral values. Those values can be derived rationally and in most cases will look like traditional, religious-based ones. Some libertarians recognize this; others don't. But, if conservatives base their argument for values on "it's God's word" or "it's in the Bible" instead of "it's true - objectively and rationally - they will convince no one. Even the Founders acknowledged that the Constitution was written based on rational truths, not revelation.
