If the intellectual fabric of the GOP unravels, if the core principles underpinning the party decay into ruin thanks to victories by Parker, Akin, Mourdock, and Allen, because the party elite thinks they can continue to run donkeys in grey suits and win, then it would indeed be worse for the country, because we would continue to witness the horrific farce of DC politicians of the two parties arguing over how much or how little to savage the Constitution and destroy our liberty. Senator McCain talks of compromise, and "reaching across the aisle," but his name will be forever sullied by his disgusting, unconstitutional attack on the First Amendment which the Supreme Court slapped down in January 2010. Why claim he's a Republican?
