Drug prohibition is the dominant driver of violence in America and Mexico, today. DRUG prohibition is a foolish replay of ALCOHOL prohibition, causing all the same social problems: high crime levels; violent gangs; corrupt public officials; and an ugly, brutal culture. When we Americans wisely ended our “war on alcohol”, the murder rate was cut in half in the US in the 12 months following the repeal of Prohibition.
