The crux of theproblem is: Will those who are indignat over the tax raise on their pay remain indignant enough and long enough that they will do something about it. It is two long years before we can change the character of the House and Senate in a way that new congressmen and women will work toward a fiscally responsible way of government. Meanwhile how many of those presently indignant people will remain indignant enough to do something about the way things are presently working in this country? Or will they do what they just did -- vote back into office (possibly including a third term for Obama) those who are responsible for a great deal of the fiscal irresponsibility? From past history my vote would be that they will.
