Along those lines, I was so infuriated by the news that the ATF had purchased 1.2 billion rounds of .40 caliber hollowpoint ammunition, that I went out and bought a .40 as my own little way to say "Don't Tread on Me." (The .40 is a fine caliber, I just didn't need another.) However, I figured that if the ATF was kind enough to buy us all of that ammo, I'd take them up on their kind offer to use it for 'em. After all, there's NO WAY they could need that much ammo, right?
And if they DO have something planned that requires more than 50 times the amount of ammo our armed forces used in Iraq 2003-2004. . .there ought to be enough .40 cal lying around to keep me in tall cotton for a long time, once they try it. Know what I mean?
