The GOP's pretense of being fiscal conservatives is every bit as phony as this "Bob" character in the article. This bizarre article seems to presume that fiscal conservatives do not criticize the Democrats, when most of the ones that I know didn't vote Democrat or support Obama, they tend to feel that both major parties are a part of the problem. When Bush was in office and the Republicans controlled both houses of Congress did they manage to balance the budget? Of course not. I know, there were the wars, and neocons love wars. But I'd love an answer to this question: We're always told that it's impossible for this reason or that to present a balanced budget. So under what conditions would it actually be possible?
