Let's see the Feds have about 700 million acres. Why don't we sell that to start the paydown of the debt with all that land. At a conservative $3500 an acre that would pay off about $2.5 Trillion. Then of course since we didn't own the land anymore we could get rid of all the bureaucratic infrastructure (read that govt employees) that manages all that ground.
