The amount of gun crime from drug gangs (that exist only because drugs are illegal) is one of the pressures against our right to bear arms, and conservatives who are willing to perforate some provisions of the Bill of Rights to wage the war on drugs cannot expect to be taken seriously when they demand full respect for the 2nd Amendment. RA's entire editorial strains to make no more than a case that marijuana might be as bad as alcohol. When it comes to those crocodile tears over poor folks who purportedly may lose their jobs if mj is legal--well, let's put them in jail, right? That's so much more compassionate. As Stossel says: give me a break.
