Dr. Sowell, I share your frustration. I have read your books and articles for decades and you never seem to get any traction with facts. I think we both know why. It’s not for lack of visibility.
It’s your colleagues in the Philosophy schools that have taught generations of students that reality is a construct, derived from introspection. For them reference to an external reality is irrelevant. *True understanding* can only be found in revelation. Therefore, all the fuss about actual results is silly; they only need look inside themselves to see what is true. All those tired, worn out, trite, solutions that we see as failures look as fresh as a new born baby.
Until we change this mode of thinking nothing will persuade them.
