Most atheists are agnostic atheists. We assign a low probability to God, or at least to particular versions of God (they can't all be real, but they can all be imaginary), but don't rule out any sort of version of God at all altogether. Most of us would agree with the statement 'there's probably no God'. And some of us want to convince other people there's probably no God as well, bit there's some people who want to convince other people that Superman would win a fight with Thor, so we might not want to over-generalize about that.
