Regarding the "Sandy Hook Elementary School's mass Murder," a primary reason why no one had a gun to shoot back is the federal laws called "The Gun-Free School Zones Act" of 1990 and 1995. These laws make it a federal crime for an citizen to possess a gun in a school or within a 1000 feet of the school unless they are an police officer acting in a official duty or a state licensed security guard. Citizens with Conceal gun licenses or off duty police officers can be arrest if they carry guns within the 1000 foot zone. Worse, if a Conceal Gun owner is stopped for a driving ticket and his or her car is in the 1000 foot zone, they may be arrested and imprisoned for five years and fined not more then $5000. This law needs to be repealed!
