I'd believe incumbent candidates for reelection who would uphold those basic principles, but only if they first pass the "Personally committed" litmus tests by having a track record promoting and making progress toward: repealing all laws granting congressmen exceptions (Obama Care) and privileges (salaries and healthcare for life), term limits, amending laws to require a bi-annual evaluation component to include a cost/benefit analysis of all departments and social programs, line item veto; balanced budget; cut deficit by 1/2 in 10 years; eliminate departments that fail to produce starters. If they aren’t already doing these things, they are just blowing smoke.
