British Labor government nationalized their health care system in 1948. This is the abbreviated history of that system: 1) In 1948 the system has 480,000 hospital beds serviced by 350,000 staff; 2) In 2002 their system had 186,000 hospital beds serviced by 882,000 staff; and 3) In 2008 the British nationalized health care system had 160,000 hospital beds serviced by 1,368,000 staff - all unionized, of course. Let us extrapolated these numbers for the year, say, 2020: ZERO hospital beds serviced by 4,000,000 staff.
