I think Deace makes a point. Republicans, if they really believe in limited government, must begin to put up real battles to cut spending. The Federal Reserve is the problem but it is a problem primarily connected to national debt. The FED offers big spending government an easy way out by printing money and collecting debt interest to cover the government's transactions. But government also feeds the power of the FED by giving it debts to be monetized in the first place. So those of us against the FED need to fight the FED where we can, both by trimming its diet by reducing debt and with a frontal assault against a true and corrupt monopoly running the banking system.
