Agreed, we should be *judged* on the content of our character and nothing else.
But does that mean we cannot laud other things?
Like how well they throw a ball?
Or how handsome or beautiful they are?
Actually, this young lady already set herself up to be "judged" for her beauty - she was a Miss America, no?
She has already given up her privacy, as she became a public figure by entering her first pageant.
But even if she were just a beautiful, un-Miss America woman, she did not hate being called beautiful, I'm willing to bet.
And I'd have no problem with an announcer's mentioning that a famous woman's guy was very handsome.
I doubt he'd mind it either.
