There is nothing new about this. For the last 30 years it's been nearly impossible for a man to tell a woman he first meets in America she is pretty or beautiful without being told it is rude instead of the woman saying thank you for the compliment. This is not news. I have travelled the world, and only in the US do woman not like being complimented. Woman are taught to ignore the fact that the first thing anyone knows about you is what you look like. I would love it if people came up to me, out of the blue, and told me I looked good. Woman are taught to ignore biology, and the fact that physical appearance is a natural attraction. Nonetheless, ESPN is over the top forcing an apology.
