Why not just pass a law stating that sex between two men (or two women, as the case may be) shall result in the production of children? Despite all the poetry and flowery love songs concerned with the random passing around of STDs and inconvenient pregnencies, the purpose and basic function of the sex act is to reproduce. That being the case, why not just pass a law declaring that the sex act between members of the same sex shall result in progeny? An un-nature-al sex act then would become as nature-al as peas (which reproduce through male and female pea parts, mind; until, that is, such time as the passing of the proposed legislation), and all controversy and wrangling would cease, there being no longer any grounds for contention.
