I've lived in Europe for 2 years. We have problems but We are not the even comparable to Europe yet. 10% Unempl. consistantly. Maternity benefits with a guarunteed job after two years. The amount of red tape to get thru to start a business is apalling. The "free" medical is below our standard. I know, My Tricare is considered private there and I got seen for surgery faster than a regualr citizen. They milked Me for as long as they could. At approx. 4 liters/$1.50+=1 gallon/$6 gas is expensive because of taxes. Its so bad there that the Germans hate the Euro and want to go back to the Mark. They literally have laws for everything, case in point: you can get in trouble for not sweeping your portion of the sidewalk and street. I can go on...
