Joseph, Halloween is NOT a Christian holiday anyway, but like Carnaval (Mardi Gras) is a worldly expression (¿to let off steam?) before serious Christian holidays (Lent and All Saints Day). But, may I ask you to reconsider your condemnation of Christians who celebrate Christmas and Easter: most of them have no idea of Ishtar and solstice, etc. So, the Catholic Church was wrong to pin their holy festivals to already-days-off for pagan purposes; we who celebrate Christ have nothing to do with the pagan ideas of the former observances. The attitude of heart with which we worship in those days could not be farther from paganism.
