Here's my main beef. The constitution gives the house the power of the purse. It ought to work like the power of nominating cabinet members and ambassadors in that the president has the power, the senate is there for advise and consent. Or, when acting as commander in chief, the house has no real power, even as second in command. The Republicans do not care to exercise their power. They don't know why that power was given to the house and not the others. They don't know how or why to wield it.
