When the Richard Nixon adminstration created the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) the idea
was to fight the menace of drug addiction that created people who were willing to commit multiple
crimes in order to get funds for their next fix for drugs such as heroin, meth, ice, etc. Worse, criminal gangs were earning billions is illegal funds that were being used to destroy America
by corruption of our law enforcement bodies and our public leaders from within. The problem
is that too often agencies such as the DEA has gone too far by actions such as the misuse of
"Civil Asset Forfeiture procedures" and courts cases to undermine legal presences such as
due process of law, presumption of innocence and property rights." Just how far is too far?
