Mr. Hawkins, I commend you for this column (and many others). Of course, Yahweh (Creator) has a different perspective than human beings (the created), but #1 (and #2, a variation of #1) is the reason we are living lives as mortal human beings subject to death (i.e. Yahweh blessed us with free will, we made the wrong choice; then we were given the gift of mortality, so that we would not have to suffer the consequences of disobedience, forever). I have to disagree with #5, since a clear reading of Scripture indicates that Yeshua will return to earth to resurrect the dead and establish "the Kingdom from above" (one of Matthew's favorite idioms).
