Abortion, in and of itself is a problem, but, from a constitutional perspective, the repeated actions of the Congress, the White House and the Supreme Court to effectively nullify the 10th Amendment have made it almost impossible for the States or the People to actually assert any right or authority over the federal government. If the People want women to have a federally protected ability to terminate the life of an unborn child, then they should amend the US Constitution to grant such power.
