Armstrong...Great article.  Don't agree with the partisan take on a horrendously non-partisan problem.    No one is looking at another possible contributor to the ills of young males.      Post Sandy Hook, maybe  it's  time to revisit the 1973 Education Act for All.    PL 94-142 mandated placing handicap students  in the least restricted learning environment & eliminating separate special ed classes, schools, programs, etc. "Disabled"  children must be " mainstreamed" into regular classrooms.    For almost 40 years, everyone has seen public schools  become incubators for misfit students who become more brooding, self destructive, & disturbed.     "Red flags" are all over the place for many classified students..waiting for the right
