I always wondered how when Democrats- including a former Klan official- voted against an African American for Secretary of State or Supreme Court judge, they don't get called racist while when Republicans nominate those people, they do. And when the ONLY Black Senator is going to be a Republican, these non-racist people look at the ":R" by his name and call him a token, or a house (Negro). It's racist and it's old. Martin Luther King was a registered Republican because the Democrats did not want him. Neither party- aside from an attempt to push identity politics by one of them- is racist.
